Blue on Blue

And look! I found yet another photo of Jacob’s Ladder – this time in June when it was just beginning to open. Again, found just below timberline in a moist mountain forest.

    Does the butterfly get its blue from nibbling theblue flowers – or does it nibble blue flowers to provide camoflage? Yes, I know it is just drinking the nectar. Pretty.
