Trail Cam January 11-16

Not a whole lot of activity on the trail cam recently. In fact nothing was captured on multiple days (13th, 14th and 16th). But here’s a slideshow of what was captured – including one of the many Steller’s Jays around here.

We’re under a high wind watch today, along with much of Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. This strong jet stream may be bringing feet of snow to Yellowstone, but we’ll just get the wind. They’re predicting damaging winds, so we’ll see if we end up with a few more “wildlife trees” around here.  Or at least that’s what the forest service calls the standing snags that birds usually end up using for their nests.
