Bobcat on the Trail Cam

I had hoped to get these up earlier, but December Days fill themselves to overflowing, don’t they? Last Saturday night, a bobcat came through – fun to know because the tracks didn’t show in the crusted over snow.

Last summer, a neighbor of ours who lives a few roads over thought he had seen a Lynx around his house. Bobcats are around here, but no known Lynx are. That’s not to say it’s impossible, though. That got all of us searching for more information about the differences between the two. Here’s a site we found that seems to sum up all the other research we’ve done. This one is definitely a bobcat.
